This notice explains what happens to the information you give us through the waitlist form on this site. It's a placeholder that should be reviewed by a solicitor before real bookings launch — it is not legal advice.
When you join the waitlist, we collect your name, email address, role (e.g. landlord, letting agent), city, an estimate of how many properties you manage, and any details you add in the notes field.
We do not sell or pass on your details to third parties for marketing. If you go on to book a viewing or inspection, relevant details are shared only with the Scout carrying out that visit, on a need-to-know basis.
Waitlist details are kept until we launch in your area and you've had the chance to book, or for up to 24 months, whichever is sooner. If you book a service, normal service and accounting records are kept for longer as required by law.
Under UK GDPR, you can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Contact us at hello@checksout.co.uk to do any of these.
